Great Software for the Office Pool
and for following the NFL!

I am sorry to inform you that production of the FOOTBALL GUIDE has been discontinued. The program is written in an old computer language (Visual Basic 6) and needs to be re-written in a newer language that will run on new versions of Windows. I do not have the expertise or the time to do this.

On the bright side, there are many Office Pool programs on the internet you can use. Many of these let your Office Pool members enter their picks in your pool on line - over the internet. Just do a Search for Office Pool software.

The FOOTBALL GUIDE is a cool program that keeps track of the NFL! The FOOTBALL GUIDE is the easiest and most fun way to run an OFFICE POOL! It even makes predictions of the winner of every game! Can you out-pick the FOOTBALL GUIDE?

DESCRIPTION:

• SCHEDULES: The FOOTBALL GUIDE (FBG) has the season's schedules. They can be viewed by Week, Team or Monday night.
• STANDINGS: Standings can be viewed by Division, Conference, Overall, Home Team and Visiting Team.
• STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE RATINGS: Ranks the teams based on their opponents' records.
• FBG RATINGS: Ranks the teams based on results and strength of schedule.
• PLAYOFF POSSIBILITIES: Shows teams that have clinched or that have been eliminated from the Division and Wild Card Playoff spots.
• ENTER RESULTS: Weekly results can be easily entered with a mouse or keyboard.
• OFFICE POOL: Each Player enters their picks each week (including the FBG). When results are entered, the FBG calculates the weekly winner and keeps the season' results. The Pool has options for Tiebreakers, Method of determining winner, etc.
• PREDICTIONS: The FBG makes Predictions each week based on the prior weeks' results. There are options to allow a Player to Pick with the FBG, What If match-ups or a Player can pick alone.
• SEASON SUMMARY BOARD: Shows how all the Players have done for the season, ranked by number of correct picks or average.
• WEEKLY WINNERS: Shows the winner of the Pool for each week of the season.
• WEEKLY SUMMARY: Shows how every Player picked for the week. This can only be viewed after all the picks have been made.
• OPTIONS: There are options available for administering the Office Pool, setting the Time Zone, viewing the schedule, etc.
